BITEX 106
“A good lightweight centre lock hub.  Reliable and durable.  Great for a road disc setup, available in quick release and through axle.

Bitex hubs use ABEC5 TPI bearings. These are among the best quality available and will help your hubs to roll faster for longer. The hubs are easy to take apart with basic tools for servicing and use standard size bearings.

Bitex use their own patented 6 pawl design. There are two groups of pawls which work in teams of three simultaneously. Each pawl is held in place by a spring/clip and is also given an additional coil spring. This design is fast to engage, is quiet and is very durable. It provides either 48 or 56 point engagement, depending on the hub.”

CHRIS KING R45
The R45 front hub is lighter and more aerodynamic than most built-to-last hubs on the market. Our R45 rear hub combines a redesigned RingDrive™ system with 45 teeth for lower drag and near-instant engagement with a lightweight hub body and our legendary made-in-house bearings.

Our bearings, both steel and ceramic, have heat-treated, surgical grade steel races that are machined simultaneously to ensure perfect matching. The quality and speed of our bearings is what you will feel (and hear) on every ride. As Chris King bearing tracks burnish they get actually get faster. A little bit of regular love (i.e. service) will keep this hub rolling for years upon years of demanding use.”
